Cetridine Concentrate

CETRIDINE® CONCENTRATE

Concentrated disinfectant for many purposes.

 

PURPOSE

Cetridine Concentrate is a disinfectant based on cetrimide and chlorhexidine digluconate. The product is effective against bacteria and fungi, but against spores and viruses Cetridine Concentrate only has a limited effect.

 

APPLICATION

• General disinfection
• Skin disinfection
• Cleaning and disinfection of instruments and equipment

Cetridine Concentrate can be diluted further to a concentration of 3% cetrimide and 0.3% chlorhexidine and will be suitable for household hygiene such as floors, bathrooms, hard surfaces, napkins, sink outlets and drains.

 

Composition

Cetridine Concentrate contains cetrimide 30% and chlorhexidine digluconate 3% in an aqueous solution. The product contains a yellow dye and has a pleasant fragrance. The raw materials used are of EP/BP standards.

Cetrimide BP:	29,25 – 30,75% w/v
Chlorhexidine Digluconate:	2,9 – 3,1%w/v
Isopropanol:	Approx. 2.3% w/v. (contained in the cetrimide)

Appearance:	Clear yellow liquid
Solubility:	Cetridine Concentrate is miscible with water or alcohol
Compatibility:	Cetridine Concentrate must not be mixed with anionic soaps or detergents because the activity will then be reduced
Shelf life:	3 years. To be stored in well-closed containers and kept away from direct sunlight and excessive heat
Standard packing:	4 x 5 l cans, 1 x 10 l bottles. Other pack sizes are available
