PURPOSE
Chlorhexidine Digluconate Solution 5% is an aqueous solution of Chlorhexidine Digluconate 20% EP. The effect is based on the damage of the cell membrane. Therefore, Chlorhexidine 5% is active against common Gram+ and Gram- bacteria and fungi. However, the product is not effective against acid-fast bacteria, bacterial spores and viruses. Chlorhexidine 5% has a good bactericidal effect. The product is widely used in the health care sector.

- General skin disinfection
- Disinfection of wounds and burns
- Pre-operative disinfection of hands
- Storage of instruments (add 0.1% Sodium Nitrite to prevent corrosion)
