IDU-SCRUB SPONGE

Single-packed sponge moistened with Idu-Scrub Soap.

 

PURPOSE

Idu-Scrub Sponge is a ready-to-use sponge moistened with Idu-Scrub Soap solution containing 4% w/w chlorhexidine digluconate in an aqueous solution of isopropanol and detergents. Having effect on bacteria the chlorhexidine digluconate has a good bacteriostatic effect even in very low concentrations. Effective against most of the Gram positive and Gram-negative bacteria including fungi. Acid strong bacteria, spores and virus are not affected.

 

APPLICATION

Idu-Scrub Sponges are used for pre-surgical and hygienic wash/disinfection of the body.

1. Rinse the whole body under running water
2. Use the Idu-Scrub sponge all over the body
3. Begin with the head and neck - avoid eyes and ear channels, but be very careful around the nose
4. Continue with the upper part of the body and wash carefully under arms and around the navel
5. Show attention around the genitals and the groin. At last wash legs and feet
6. Rinse the whole body under running water
7. Dry with a clean towel and put on clean clothes

 

Composition

Idu-Scrub Sponges are single packed sponges made of foamed polyether. The sponges contain approx. 10 ml. Idu-Scrub Soap.
